Rohit Gurunath Sharma, born April 30, 1987, is a renowned Indian cricketer, widely considered one of the greatest ODI opening batters. He currently captains the Indian national team in One Day Internationals (ODIs), and was previously the captain in Tests and T20Is. A right-handed batsman, he also plays for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and for Mumbai in domestic cricket.
